I am also a futurist, poet and alchemist who studies the cycles and rhythms that describe the changes that take place in many aspects of our human experience.

Modern folks have become obsessed with the stories that illustrate the wisdom teachings, but we have forgotten what the stories were meant to teach. Our psychic and cellular environments have been innundated by toxins - mineral particles, parasites, poisonus ions, acids, anxieties, and negative thoughts, that damage us on every level, every day. Billions of people spend millions of hours being bombarded by electromagnetic waves that carry encoded violence, disharmony and depravity directly into their minds every every day. We pour billions of dollars into efforts to develop technologies supposedly for human betterment, but nothing will improve the human condition until every one of us makes an effort to improve our relationship to the world, each other and ourselves.
But these wisdom teachings are still accessible, and still useful for us all. The ancients encoded these teachings about life into the patterns formed by the moving and fixed stars and the oracles they provide. This is so important to us in our daily lives because although our technologies and out environments have changed, the basic needs, values and other components that determine success or failure, misery or ecstasy, have not. Not everyone has the chance to meditate, reflect and access their own intuition on a daily basis, and as a teacher and friend once told me "the sages created astrology to compensate for humanity's lack of divine vision in this dark age."
