Virtual Astrology was designed to help student astrologers learn a few techniques that can be helpful when working with charts of people who do not know their time of birth. Here we take the chart of a well-documented supermodel and study, from a virtual perspective, some events in her life. This type of astrology is concerned with "fit" and is the beginning of "rectification" methods, which are necessary for the location of an unknown birthtime, or the correction of a known, but suspicious one.
- New Article >> A Beginner's Guide to Profections is a basic guide to a simple yet profound predictive technique of Hellenistic astrology. The more complicated version fell out of use somewhere in the Renaissance, probably because the concepts of science changed, and astrology changed with them. Yet they have proven their worth to me over and over, even on untimed birthcharts. Profections are a clear example of how once the concepts and symbols are properly understood, amazing astrology can be done without a computer. To put it simply, they work. At some future date, time permitting, I will be expanding this article with more examples and further research.
